The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences in the College of Cultural Science at KAIST invites applications for a tenure-track position (assistant or associate professor) in science journalism. The candidate is expected to participate in interdisciplinary programs in the College of Cultural Science or throughout the university. There is a two-course teaching load per semester, including graduate courses in the Graduate Program of Science Journalism. The candidates who have demonstrated success as published professional writers are desirable. The appointment starts in September 2010 or thereafter.

Qualifications for the positions include a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and evidence of outstanding research and excellence in teaching. Interested candidates should send a curriculum vitae, a cover letter describing research and teaching interests and experience, teaching evaluations (if available), sample publications, three letters of reference, and other supporting materials by April 15, 2010, to the address below.
